Lou Morsberger and his wife, Nancy, have lived on Cedar Parkway in Chevy Chase Village since 2001. They have two children, Layne and John, who’ve attended Montgomery County Public Schools and nearby private schools. Lou is an active adult leader with his son’s Scout Troop, Troop 255. Lou and Nancy are members of the Blessed Sacrament parish, and Lou volunteers with Catholic Charities’ SHARE Food Network. Lou is a Maryland native, having grown up in Catonsville, just outside of Baltimore.
Lou operates a corporate consulting practice that advises companies on how best to manage payments systems. His consulting follows more than 20 years in the credit card industry, much of that time with Capital One, where he headed up key industry partnerships and led product development teams. Lou earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his B.A. (in Government) from Harvard College.
Lou’s election to the Board of Managers in May 2021 followed 7 years as Chairman of the Financial Review Committee, before which he served on the Budget and Audit Committees prior to their consolidation into the Financial Review Committee. With his experience leading complex partnerships in the corporate world, and his involvement in stewarding the Village’s financial resources, Lou is skillful at finding positive and collaborative—and yet practical—solutions to real-world issues. He is committed to furthering the sense of community and neighborliness that makes Chevy Chase Village such a remarkable and appealing place to live.
