B-CC High School Educational Foundation Fundraiser

On Thursday, June 21, 2018, come out to support the B-CC High School Educational Foundation for a casual, fun evening at Silver,  7150 Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda.  Come for dinner and stay to have a drink or two with the “celebrity” bartenders, B-CC HS alums, parents, and Foundation board members.

Silver will donate a portion of the evening’s proceeds to the B-CC HS Educational Foundation, which helps all students at B-CCHS thrive, by funding academic support programs, grants for innovative programs, and staff development.

To learn more, or to donate to the Foundation directly, go to bccedfoundation.org Or email bcchsedfoundation@gmail.com.

Stormwater Management and Sump Pump Installations: Confirm Permitting Requirements

If the recent historic rainfall has you considering implementing a stormwater management project on your property, please be aware that many stormwater management projects may require a Village Building Permit. A Village Building Permit is required for the installation of drain pipes, drywells, underground rain tanks, flowells, French drains and drainage swales.

If you are considering installing or modifying existing stormwater management controls, please contact Ellen Sands, the Village’s Municipal Operations Coordinator, for a review of the proposed work. For residents’ reference and assistance the Stormwater Management presentation materials provided by Montgomery County at the information meeting held at the Village Hall in 2016 are still available on the Village website at http://www.chevychasevillagemd.gov/254/Stormwater-Management-Watershed-RestoratCoordinator.
