Speed Hump to be Installed in the Westernmost block of Grafton Street
on Tuesday, April 24; Temporary Road Closure Required
The Village's paving contractor will install a new speed hump in the block of Grafton Street located between Wisconsin Avenue and Kirkside Drive on Tuesday, April 24. The speed hump is being installed pursuant to the specifications for the “Watts Profile”, the standard adopted by the Village Board in 2011. It is a different design than the speed humps installed in the mid-block of Grafton Street between Kirkside Drive and Cedar Parkway.
The installation process will require a temporary road closure in the immediate area where the speed hump is being installed. No access will be permitted for up to 3 hours. The roadway will be closed no earlier than 9:00 a.m. and will be reopened before 3:00 p.m.
Should you have any questions regarding the approved speed hump or scheduling, please contact the Village office.
