Village Street Sweeping

The Village has arranged for street sweeping services to occur on Monday, September 18.   This service is being provided to clean roadways following the severe summer storms that have left tree debris along Village streets.  The truck will start no earlier than 8:00 a.m. and continue through the Village until approximately 5:00 p.m.  The specific route is still tentative.

The Village’s contractor anticipates completion of the entire Village within a single service day; however, an email update will be provided to residents if an additional day is needed or if the service must be rescheduled due to weather or other circumstances.  

Residents are encouraged to ensure all vehicles are removed from Village roadways to ensure thorough cleaning.  No attempts will be made to find owners or otherwise remove vehicles that have been left parked on the roadway. The contractor has been directed to sweep around any parked vehicles.  Although leaf and yard debris piles are NEVER permitted in roadways, the contractor will sweep around any piles located in the street.
