Emergency Tree Work Requires a Controlled Power Outage on Center Street
-Outage Set to begin around 3:35 and last One Hour-

A tree crew working for PEPCO is on site in the 5500 block of Center Street where a tree fell in yesterday’s storm.  In order to remove the tree, PEPCO must turn off the power for worker safety.  Power will be cut off to the following homes beginning at approximately 3:35 p.m.:

• 5600 Cedar Parkway
• All homes in the 5500 block of Center Street (between Cedar Parkway and Kirkside Drive)
• All homes in the 5400 block of Center Street (between Kirkside Drive and the Buffer Area)

This controlled outage is expected to last no longer than one hour while the tree is removed.  We will provide an update if the outage is extended.
