Northbound Connecticut Avenue Closed at East Melrose Street due to Fallen Branch

Please be advised that northbound Connecticut Avenue at East Melrose Street has been closed to all thru traffic due to a fallen branch that has taken down power lines. PEPCO and State Highway crews are en route.

Drivers are urged to seek an alternate route and to expect delays due to the closure and detour.

We will advise when the roadway has been reopened.
