A Presentation on the Beautiful and Functional RainScapes
Approach to Gardening
Tomorrow: Wednesday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m.
in the Chevy Chase Village Hall
Learn about gardens that do more: managing stormwater and habitat biodiversity with beautiful home landscapes that support pollinators and manage runoff simultaneously. What you do in your yard impacts our water quality in local streams, the bay and more; presented by Ann English, RainScapes Program Manager at Montgomery County Dept. of Environmental Protection. Doors open at 7:30; light refreshments will be served prior to the program.
RainScapes is a landscape or design technique that helps reduce stormwater runoff from individual properties. If you’re interested in learning more about this program, please visit the RainScapes website: https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/water/rainscapes/
