Bike Donation and Used Sports Equipment
Donation Event at the Village Hall 

Friday, May 13 & Saturday, May 14

The Environment and Energy Commission will be hosting a used bike and sporting equipment collection at the Village Hall.  If you're interested in donating a bike or equipment, stop by the Village Hall during event hours (see event flier for additional details).  

Donated bikes will go to Bikes for the World (https://bikesfortheworld.org/), whose mission is to make affordable, good quality used bicycles available to low-income people in developing countries.  If you donate a bike, the organization asks you to consider a modest donation of $10 per bike to help offset the cost of transport. 

Used sports equipment will go to Leveling the Playing Field (https://www.levelingtheplayingfield.org/). LPF redistributes equipment to expand access and equity within youth sports and recreation programs in under-resourced communities.  Click here for a list of acceptable items.
