Theft Investigations - USPS Mailbox & Vehicle's Catalytic Convertor

The Chevy Chase Village Police are currently investigating a theft from a US Postal mailbox. The mailbox is located at the corner of Kirkside Drive and Montgomery Street. Any resident who has used this mailbox should check to make sure their mail arrived at its destination.
 
Chevy Chase Village Police also received a report of a catalytic converter that stolen from a vehicle. The vehicle was parked on the street in the unit block of Quincy Street. The thieves removed the catalytic converter by cutting it out from under the vehicle. The theft occurred between 10-01-21 and 10-02-21.
