Update on Water Main Break on Leland Street

(north of the Village)

 

WSSC reports that the watermain break on Leland Street has been isolated and is being evaluated for repairs. This is a large main and the repair will be a substantial undertaking. It is uncertain when the work can begin, how long it may take to repair the main and what, if any, service interruptions may occur during the work. WSSC will provide, and the Village will share,  all updates as they are available.

The water is safe to drink however as a reminder, please DO NOT run your dishwasher or washing machine if you have discolored water. Click here to visit the WSSC website for further information on discolored water.
