Bridge Girder Installation for the Purple Line

Nighttime closures of Connecticut Avenue between Chevy Chase Lake Drive and Newdale Road began last night and will continue through this week as crews install the bridge girder for the Purple Line. The closures will occur (weather permitting) between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Below is an image of the detour route around the closure.
