Meet our State's Attorney and Other Local Public Safety Leaders
Monday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall
On Monday, February 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., immediately prior to the Board of Managers' regular meeting, the Board will host several guests from the public safety community. The following guests will update the community on recent crime trends and will explain how they work in concert with each other to make the Village safe:
- John McCarthy, the Montgomery County State's Attorney, along with senior Assistant State's Attorney Stephen Chaikin will explain how ‘community prosecution' works to place emphasis on the successful prosecution of crimes that most impact our community.
- Commander David Falcinelli of the 2nd District (Bethesda) of the Montgomery County Police, along with Detective Sergeant Michael Hartnett, will explain how their agency works with the Chevy Chase Village Police Department and with surrounding municipalities to reduce crime and identify offenders.
- Commander Michael Reese of the 2nd District of the Metropolitan Police Department (DC), will talk about how his agency works cooperatively with the Chevy Chase Village Police Department and the Montgomery County Police Department to address crime problems that effect Maryland and the District.
