Commission and Committee Vacancies

Building Facilities Commission—formulates and submits to the Board of Managers for its approval proposed rules and regulations concerning public use of the Lambert Room, Humphrey Hall and the Tuohey Conference Room, standards of the eligibility for use, hours of use, rental fees, conduct during use, permits for use, damage to equipment, building or utility and
enjoyment of the Village Hall.
Previous members, Karen Spangler, Cara Medeiros and Pam Somers along with previous Commission Chair Elizabeth Bausch have opted not to renew their terms; however, Ms. Somers has been kind enough to step in as interim Chair until a new Chair is appointed. Margaret Babbington of West Irving Street, Roxann Steinberg of West Lenox Street and Elissa Leonard of
Cedar Parkway were appointed to the Commission last month, but two vacancies remain. If you are interested in serving on this Commission, please contact Village Manager Shana R. Davis-Cook at shana.daviscook@ montgomerycountymd.gov.
Committee for Seniors—Chaired by Betty O'Connor of Grafton Street, this Committee serves as a liaison to the multi-community senior village group, Chevy Chase @ Home.
