Neighborhood Watch Program
The Village has an active "Neighborhood Watch" program. A volunteer Block Captain is assigned to each block within the Village and is responsible for meeting with neighbors, distributing literature and crime bulletins, and attending quarterly meetings with the Sergeant Adventino Dasilva.
Residents with current Block Captains are notified of serious offenses shortly after they occur. If you would also like to receive these crime alerts via e-mail, contact the Sgt. Dasilva at adventino.dasilva@montgomerycountymd.gov.
Since Block Captains may move or be unable to fully serve in this position, volunteers are always welcome. Please contact Sgt. Dasilva at (301) 654-7300 if you are interested in serving your block in this capacity.
