Information from the Chief
Letter from the Chief of Police: I am honored to serve as the Chief of Police for Chevy Chase Village. Our 12 sworn officers and 5 communications clerks are highly valued men and women who are truly dedicated to providing "enhanced community policing" to our residents, their guests, and visitors to our community. Enhanced Community Policing is the foundation of the Chevy Chase Village Police Department. It is not a static endeavor but rather one that is ever changing to meet and satisfy the concerns and service needs of all members of our community. By promoting community engagement, creating Neighborhood Watch programs, and forming police and community partnerships, we are effectively dealing with the fear of crime and other quality of life issues. We are committed to treat all people with courtesy, fairness and professionalism. We welcome your feedback through walk-ins, telephone calls, letters, response to our surveys, or by sharing your ideas and information on our website.
